Blasphemy and its punishment
By Dr. Irfan ullah Malik
Reading alot of Buk Buk from every other liberal every day about the AMAZING death of Tahir Blasphemer.
Here is the answer to what most of the liberals quoting now a days.
1. Blasphemer is punishable by death & it has been done during Huzoor SAW era.
a.During Fath e Makkah, a blasphemer, Abdullah Ibni Khatal, wanted to protect himself inside Ghilafi Kaba( He knew the bloodshed is not allowed inside the holy place & also there were many people who forgiven for one reason or other) but it was announced not to forgive any blasphemer & he received the punishment as announced. NO IMMUNITY FOR BLASPHEMER
"On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah [SAW] granted amnesty to the people, except four men and two women. He said: 'Kill them, even if you find them clinging to the covers of Ka'bah.' (They were) 'Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl, 'Abdullah bin Khatal, Miqyas bin Subabah and 'Abdullah bin Sa'd bin Abi As-Sarh. 'Abdullah bin Khatl was caught while he was clinging to the covers of Ka'bah.
b. Umar RA killed a muslim just because a decision made bya Huzoor SAW was not acceptable to him
There is nowhere written in Sharia that a person who is guilty of committing blasphemy can escape death penalty. No court can order relaxation in his/her PUNISHMENT.
The debate regarding who should order or implement the death penalty can be discussed & here it is,
If there is a doubt, for example, if it is not clear that a particular person has committed blasphemy, then it should be decided by the court that either the person is guilty or not.
But if there is no doubt & the person has committed the sin clearly, Like Tahir did, then anyone can implement the punishment especially in a place where u know for sure that the person will escape justice.
I hope you may understand this now.
