Pakistan's first formal official response to the UAE-Israel agreement, the
Foreign Office said in a statement. That the agreement will have far-reaching
implications, peace in the Middle East is Pakistan's top priority, and we express solidarity with the Palestinians right to self-determination. According
to details, a statement has been issued by the Pakistan Foreign Office in
response to the agreement reached between the UAE and Israel.
Pakistan supports a two-state solution to the Palestinian problem
for lasting peace in the Middle East. Pakistan has always supported a
comprehensive two-state solution to the Palestinian problem based on justice. The
two-state solution is in line with UN, OIC resolutions and international law. Remember
that the rights of Palestinians include their sovereignty. Pakistan voluntarily
expresses solidarity with the Palestinians. "Our approach will be based on
how the rights and aspirations of the Palestinians are upheld." Pakistan
will review how peace, security and stability in the region are maintained.
It should be noted that the UAE is the first Gulf Islamic country
to recognize Israel and decide to restore diplomatic relations. The agreement
reached with the help of the United States, delegation-level talks between Israel
and the United Arab Emirates will begin soon.
